I snore and have had sleepng issues for years. I was recently diagnosed recently mild sleep apnea and low blood oxygen levels (<90%) through a sleep study. I decied to try the mouth piece to see if it helped with my symptoms and used the SleepOn ring to monitor my improvement. I will say I was skeptical. The mouth piece is not very comfortable, but suprisingly, after a few nights, I became more used it. I will pursue a custom sleep appliance from a dentist for a more comfortable fit. My snoring stopped the first night and has not returned in the 2 weks, and I am sleeping more soundly. The ring indicates that my ODI is in normal range. I was unaware of this term vs the more common used AHI. ODI is an indicator of frequency and severity of oxygen level drops during sleep ODi is used with AHI to determine severity of sleep apnea. This was a suprising and relatively inexpensive solution to improve the quality of my sleep! Thank you!
After updating to the most recent software and firmware, my device and app are working very well together. I get good overnight data on my oxygen. The upload takes only about a minute and the resulting graphs and reports are very informative.
With the updated firmware and software, the device and app now work in harmony. The nightly data is current and compete. I'm pleased with the new app software.
It takes a few nights to get used to, but that's not a surprise. It did improve my breathing though, and my snoring, while not completely gone, is much reduced. The price isn't too high either, so to me it seems like a good option to try.
I have tried several anti-snore mouthpieces before and could never get them to work as in too much pain and discomfort. Sleepon had a deal going for this, so I took a chance. I finally got around to trying it and my odi index really seems to be improving when wearing this. I read the instructions and did as it said. Simply wear the mouthpiece a week or so on its lowest default setting, then gradually pull out the bottom. Even on the lowest setting it was an improvement I think because it kept my mouth stable threw the night.
