Fingertip holder seems to be more accurate than the ring, even though I really did love the ring. I'm glad that I picked up this holder.
It's comfortable and doesn't bother me when I sleep. I like it better than the ring. The instructions that came with it doesn't make sense. I couldn't find anything on the app to change to fingertip.
I used this Gotosleep device to monitor my sleep apnia and find it extremely useful. In fact I used to develop a device that is far simpler than CPAP to fight it. However I found sleep doctors use minimum oxygen saturation, respiratory distribufion index (RDI) and Apnea Hypopnea Index as metrics to judge sleep apnea. I recommend they be included, to satify their curiosity at least. Also I suggest a separate 'notes' view be included where the user writes comments on sleep on a particular day.
Lost it after about a week and device didn't find it before it probably ran out of battery power. Had just replaced the silicon cover with a smaller one since the original one used stretched out and fell off during the night. Placed on vanity, got distracted, came back in about 15 minutes and it was gone. I must have moved it elsewhere before the distraction, but can't remember where. I hate being old! Went through a nearby trashcan and laundry basket with no luck. Almost 2 weeks later now and still haven't found it. It really was great, though! Very comfortable to sleep with and got a lot of the data my doctor was looking for. I'll probably end up splurging to get another one next month.
I love my Go2sleep3 it is the answer to my sleep questions without a subscription and it gives me the ODI, which none of the other devices offered. No bulky bracelet or device that I need to wear all day! It’s small and I don’t even notice I’m wearing it! I love love love it.
